The Faith that overcomes the Giants in Our Lives

Introduction The purpose of giants in our life is to intimidate and hinder our advancement and possession of God’s promises. The enemy’s purpose never changes. He comes to kill, to steal, and to destroy. In order to move forward and advance we must defeat the giants in our life. The enemy is defeated as we have faith in our covenant relationship with God through salvation. God promises are known to us through His word. It is our responsibility to read His word, obey His word, and trust in His word. Such was the case with David in his fight with Goliath.

To Overcome Giants in Our Life we Must have
I. A Covenant with God’s Plan. V.26 II. A Commitment to God’s Process. V. 39 – 40 III. Confidence in God’s Power. V. 45 – 46
Conclusion God’s plan is for us to overcome the Giants that we face. When we enter a covenant relationship with Him through Jesus Christ we can be confident that God will honor His word. We must be willing to have a relationship with him because we can’t defeat the giants on our own. |
